Second Practice with St. John's-Ravenscourt
January 28, 2026
On January 28th, 2026, we collaborated again with SJR Eagles team 30786 to hold the last practice before we left for the Buffalo Jump Qualifier. This event allowed both teams to dial in the last bits of our robots and get ready for competition. Through this practice we further strengthed our relationship with SJR Eagles and exchanged game plans.
Practice with St. John's-Ravenscourt and Balmoral Hall
January 23, 2026
On January 23rd, 2026, all three Manitoban FTC teams got together and held the first unofficial Manitoba FTC scrimmage. This event allowed all three teams to practice on a full field for the first time. We also got to practice working with other teams to win matches.
This historical event showed a significant rise in interest in robotics and STEM related fields amoung high school students across Manitoba over recent years, and we hope the FTC community in Manitoba will continue growing! Shout out to Blazebots team 18039 for organizing the event and SJR Eagles team 30786 for participating.
Practice with St. John's-Ravenscourt
January 18, 2026
On January 18th, 2026, we held the first multi-team practice in Manitoba. We combined forces with SJR Eagles team 30786 to make each robot better. We contributed the mats; they contributed the goal and the artifacts. This allowed us to create a half field. We were able to score our first artifact into the real goal, and they got to drive on the real playing surface. At the end of this practice, we traded half of our mats for a selection of their artifacts, mutually benefiting each team.
North Dakota Scrimmage
April 6, 2024
We were invited to Fargo, ND for a friendly competition! This was the first event our team ever attended. It was a great learning experience for all of us. Getting to talk to experienced teams about robot design strategies, talking to mentors about building better team organization, and meeting many like minded students, overall it was an awesome experience.
A sincere thanks to FTC Dakota for inviting us to the event, we look forward to even more competitions in the future!
Manitoba Schools Science Symposium
April 22, 2023
We did an outreach program at the the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium! We had the opportunity to talk to many students, teachers and parents about robotic programs in Manitoba. We also demoed the robot to people who were at the fair.

Manitoba First Nations Schools Science Fair

We did an outreach program at the Manitoba First Nations Schools Science Fair! We had the opportunity to talk to many students and teachers about robotic programs in Manitoba. We also had a chance to present to Wab Kinew, the leader of the Manitoba NDP.
